Stir-Fry SIRLOIN STEAK with BAMBOO SHOOTS n STRAW MUSHROOM ©




Stir-fry Sirloin Beef Steak with Bamboo Shoots and Straw Mushroom in oyster sauce and black bean sauce is a home-style recipe, and taste absolutely fabulous. It goes well with white steam rice.


Ingredients and Preparation  for 4

Prepare -

  • garlic - 5 cloves - sliced
  • onions - 1/2 medium size - sliced
  • chili - 4 pcs
  • baby carrots - 10 pcs - diced
  • straw mushroom - 1/2 cup
  • bamboo shoots - 1/2 cup - sliced
  • bell peppers - red & green - sliced
  • green onions - 5 stalks - sliced (not in pictures)

Prepare -

  • sirloin steaks - 2 lb - thinly sliced

Marinate steak slices with

  • 2 tbs black bean sauce
  • 2 tbs thick dark sweet soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbs oyster sauce







Cooking Steps

Begin, by saute garlic, onions, and chili in 4 tbs cooking oil and 1 tbs sesame oil in a large skillet in medium heat until fragrant.
Add marinated beef.

Continue stirring and frying.

Cover with top, and leave to simmer for 10 minutes over low heat until meat tenderize.

Add corn or sweet potato mixture (2 tbs flour to 4 tbs water) to the cooked meat and continue stirring.
Add carrots, bamboo shoots and straw mushroom.

Combine well and continue stirring.
Add red and green bell peppers.

Combine well.

Add green onions.
Ready for serving.
