DAIKON MUSHROOM PORK SOY SOUP ©





Daikon cooked with pork meat, mushroom and hard-boiled eggs in soy sauce is a home style recipe. 


Ingredients and Preparation for 4

Prepare 1 lb pork shoulder butt meat. Slice into samller pieces.
Prepare -

  • Daikon - 1 large size - slices , 
  • fresh mushroom - slices 
  • onions - 1 small size - slices 
  • garlic - 5 cloves 
  • chili - 4 pcs                                                                            
  • eggs - 4 - hard boiled - remove shells.




Cooking Steps

Using a large pot, boil 6 cups water. When water is boiling, add pork meat. When pork is cooked, add Daikon, mushrooms, hard-boil eggs, onions, garlic, chilli. Keep boiling for 10 minutes over medium heat.
For flavor, add:- 4 tbs light soya sauce, 2 tbs dark soya sauce, 3 tbs fish sauce, 3 tbs chicken stock brand, 2 tbs sugar, 1 tbs rice vinegar, 1 tbs pepper. Cover with top, and leave to boil for 20 minutes over low heat.
 Daikon Soup is ready.
Ready for serving. Garnish with dried onions.
